Castle in Saint-Règle near Amboise

The Château des Arpentis was formerly a fief and a Lordship dependent on Amboise. It is built in the commune of Saint-Règle and stands at the foot of the hillside, on the banks of the Lamasse stream. The village's location is remarkable, 3 kilometers from the Royal City of Amboise in the heart of Touraine, halfway between Tours and Blois. The first known lord was Christophe Thomas in 1313. Around 1410, the castle became the property of Jean du Bois, steward to the Duke of Guise. In the 16th century, it belonged to men-at-arms, then, in 1612, to Louis Charles d'Albert, Duke of Luynes, at whose home King Louis XIII dined on June 20, 1619. The walls of the moat surrounding the castle and The structures supporting the terrace date from the 17th century. The terrace is punctuated by casemates, some of which are still preserved. The building was extensively restored in the 19th century. Today, this property sits majestically in the middle of a peaceful 30-hectare wooded park, crossed by the Lamasse stream and its pond. You will be staying in the heart of the Loire Valley and Touraine region. Un weekend absolument exceptionnel ! Nous avons séjourné au sein d’une chambre située dans une petite dépendance qui est absolument incroyable, spacieuse et extrêmement propre. Le lieu est sublime, et incarne parfaitement l’esprit des châteaux de la Loire. Merci pour ce moment hors du temps.

Nous avons passé une nuit au château des Arpentis fin Juillet 2020. Accueil et personnel très aimable et chaleureux. L'endroit surtout est grandiose et hors du temps. Les chambres, très propres, sont superbes, je recommande vivement la chambre bleue qui a une très belle décoration et est très confortable. La piscine surtout et les extérieurs sont un havre de paix et de beauté. Il est vraiment très agréable de rester à la piscine toute la journée ! Le salon à l'étage est vraiment plaisant pour prendre un thé ou un café avant de dormir, je recommande vivement de s'y arrêter avant de rejoindre sa chambre. Un très bel établissement et mon regret finalement est de n'y avoir fait qu'une seule nuit !

Le domaine est immense et magnifique. Très bon accueil. Nous étions dans la chambre bleue, qui est spacieuse et avec une jolie décoration. La piscine est grandiose. Au sein du château, vous avez la possibilité de profiter du grand salon pour boire un thé ou café. Excellent petit-déjeuner à l'extérieur avec une vue sur le parc! Nous reviendrons sans hésiter dans ce cadre paradisiaque.

Séjour incroyable et saisissant dans ce magnifique chateau. Grande chambre sous combles pleine de charme, magnifique salle de bain, et possibilité de se relaxer dans le magnifique salon ouvert aux hôtes, avec feu de cheminée en prime. A refaire au plus vite.
